Hi KNUG,

I thought I would pass along a few changes that are going to take place tonight.

Kent State Guest

First of all, you will see a new SSID. “Kent State Guest”.
As it states, it can be used for all your visiting guests.

Instructions

Associate to SSID
Open Web Browser (go to any web site you like.)
You will then be redirected, Accept usage policy and off you go.

Restrictions

Most on campus sites are restricted.
All VPN’s should work :} .

FLASHZONE

FLASHZONE is being changed.
No more PPTP

Instructions

Associate to FLASHZONE (NO ENCRYPTION)
Open Web Browser (go to any web site you like.)
You will then be redirected, enter in your KSU user name and password and off you go.

Restrictions

Users will be restricted from accessing any system that use unencrypted protocols;
Example “File Shares.”

FLASHZONE-WPA

Should remain the SSID of choice; Encrypted and Fewest Restrictions.
